Overview
LiteAIO is a hosted Stremio & Nuvio addon. You configure it once on the web, install one private URL, and everything — catalogs, streams, subtitles, live TV — flows through that single addon.
Every user needs a free account (username, email, password) — configs are tied to your account, not floating around in a shareable link anyone could grab. Everything is free with an account except Live TV and Profiles, which need Premium ($3/mo).

Debrid
Debrid services resolve torrents into instant HTTPS streams instead of raw P2P. Add a key and scrapers use it automatically.
Supported: Real-Debrid, AllDebrid, Premiumize, TorBox, Debrid-Link, EasyDebrid, Offcloud, Put.io. You can add a primary service plus fallbacks — scrapers that embed debrid natively (Torrentio, Comet, Debridio) are queried once per account, so you get cache hits from all of them, and raw torrents try each service in order until one resolves.
Toggle Only show instantly playable streams to hide anything your debrid hasn't already cached — useful if you don't want to wait on a slow download-then-play.
Scrapers
Multiple scrapers run in parallel; results are merged, de-duplicated, and ranked together — not stacked as separate rows.
The standard torrent index aggregator. Auto-configures with your debrid key.
Fast, debrid-first scraper (public ElfHosted instance).
Premium multi-source scraper — needs a Debridio subscription + API key.
Usenet member search via your Easynews credentials.
Your own indexer URL + API key. Magnets resolve through debrid when available.
Any other Stremio-compatible addon — just paste its manifest URL.
Torrentio has its own advanced options: sort mode, results-per-quality-tier, provider allowlist, and raw extra options for power users.
Want to squeeze more out of a scraper you already added? StremThru Wrap takes any addon's manifest URL plus your debrid key and hands back a new manifest URL for it — same streams, but routed through StremThru's own IP, which sidesteps Real-Debrid's multi-IP-ban issue if you stream from more than one location. Paste the wrapped URL in as a Custom scraper here, same as any other addon — there's a shortcut for it in the Configurator's scraper gallery.
Subtitles New
LiteAIO doesn't do its own subtitle matching — it proxies whatever subtitle addon you point it at via a manifest URL.
Add one or more subtitle addon manifest URLs in the Configurator's Subtitles section. Requests fan out to all of them in parallel and merge into your addon's own subtitles resource — so Stremio never needs a separate subtitle addon installed.
Use the one-click Quick add: OpenSubtitles v3 button for the official Stremio OpenSubtitles addon, or paste any other subtitle addon's manifest URL.
Catalogs
Two independent sources, both free, both reorderable into one unified home screen.
MDBList
Add your free MDBList API key, then browse top community lists, search thousands more, or paste any list URL/ID. Each list becomes a Stremio catalog row — trending, new releases, niche genres, or your own curated lists.
Streaming Catalogs
Netflix-, Disney+-, Prime-style browsable rows — no API key required. Pick which services' catalogs you want and where they sit relative to your MDBList rows.
Posters
Stremio's own artwork via metahub — no key, no setup.
Ratings burned into the poster art (or textless). Needs a free RatingPosterDB key.
Localized posters in your own language. Needs a free TMDB key — also powers Kids Mode.
Filters & sorting
Applied server-side, across every scraper at once — not per-source.
- Resolutions — toggle exactly which tiers (4K down to 360p, plus unknown) are allowed through.
- Sort — by quality, size, or seeders; cached-on-debrid status is always a tiebreaker.
- Results per quality tier — cap how many streams show per resolution bucket.
- Max file size and hide streams containing… — keyword excludes like
HDR, HEVC. - Hide CAM/screener releases and hide dual-audio releases — one switch each, applied everywhere.
Kids Mode New
Blocks non-kid-safe streams and title details for a profile, using real certification data.
When enabled, LiteAIO looks up a title's US rating via TMDB — MPAA (movies: G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17) or TV Parental Guidelines (series: TV-Y through TV-MA) — and blocks anything above PG / TV-PG from playing or showing details. Unrated or unrecognized titles are blocked too, not allowed through.
Turn it on when creating a new profile via the Kids profile toggle, or flip it on later for any existing profile in Filters → Kids Mode.
What it doesn't do yet: scrub catalog browsing itself — a blocked title's poster can still appear in a row, it just won't play or open if tapped.
Live TV (IPTV) Premium
Bring your own Xtream Codes login or M3U playlist — LiteAIO organizes it, Stremio plays it.
Add up to 5 sources per profile in the IPTV Manager. Channels appear with logos, your provider's own categories, favorites, and search, right alongside your movies and shows. Xtream sources can also surface VOD and series content, not just live channels. Preview how a source will look before committing, in Stremio Preview.
Enabled N / 200 count; toggle channels on/off (or use Clean names + bulk enable/disable) to fit your favorites in.Profiles Premium
Up to 4 fully separate setups under one account — each with its own catalogs, IPTV, debrid keys, and install URL.
Switch between profiles from the chip in the nav on any page — it always shows which one you're currently editing. When creating a profile you can start blank, copy just the keys from another profile, or fully duplicate one (catalogs, scrapers, and IPTV included).
Common uses: a Kids profile with Kids Mode on, separate profiles per household member, or one profile per streaming "mood" (movie night vs. background TV).
Starter templates
One-click starting points from the Configurator's Getting Started checklist — never overwrites your debrid or MDBList keys.
- Torrentio starter — Torrentio + quality sort. Add a debrid key next.
- Cached-only — Torrentio + Comet, cached-only filter. Best once a debrid key is set.
- Catalogs first — streaming catalogs with no scrapers yet, for browsing before you commit.
- Torrentio + Comet — two scrapers for more hits.
- IPTV-ready — scrapers + catalogs ready, add Xtream/M3U once you're on Premium.
Installing
Your addon lives at one private URL, tied to your account (or the active profile) — never share it, it's effectively a login token.
- Go to the Configurator's Install section.
- Stremio: click the install button — it opens Stremio directly, no manual steps.
- Nuvio: click Install in Nuvio — it copies your manifest URL and opens the app; paste it under
Settings → Content & Discovery → Addons.
Change anything later — a new debrid key, more catalogs, different filters — and the addon updates itself. No reinstalling, ever.
Full click-by-click version for either app: Setup Guide →
FAQ
No streams are showing up
Add a debrid key under API Keys — without one you'll only see raw P2P results, which can be slow or empty for less popular titles. Also check your resolution/filter settings haven't excluded everything.
No catalogs besides the default one
Open Catalogs, add your free MDBList key, then discover or search for lists and add them. Streaming Catalogs need no key at all.
Why do I see "Popular"/"Featured" rows I never added?
Those come from Cinemeta, Stremio's own built-in addon — it's installed by default alongside LiteAIO and isn't something we (or any addon) can turn off; Stremio doesn't offer an official setting for it, and their team has said editing another client's synced addon list to force it off counts as API abuse and can affect support/features. If it bothers you, a few things help: reordering addons in Stremio's addon manager so LiteAIO sits above Cinemeta gives your catalogs priority, and your MDBList/Streaming Catalog rows work fine sitting alongside Cinemeta's regardless. There's a community workaround (search "hidden cinemeta") that edits your synced Stremio addon list via the same account-sync API Stremio's own app uses — if you go that route, use the version that has you paste in an auth token you copy yourself, never one that asks you to type your actual Stremio password into a third-party site.
I changed something — do I need to reinstall?
Depends what changed. Debrid keys, filters, sources, and the contents of a catalog you already have all update live — the addon reads your config on every request. But adding a brand-new catalog row (a new MDBList, a streaming service, or a MyAnimeList status) needs a reinstall: Stremio caches an addon's list of catalogs when you first add it and only re-reads that list on reinstall, not on every reopen. Go to Stremio's Addons page and reinstall LiteAIO (or Nuvio's equivalent) any time you add a new catalog row to pick it up.
Live TV isn't showing up
IPTV needs Premium and at least one Xtream/M3U source added in the IPTV Manager. Check Stremio Preview to confirm the source loads correctly.
Is my addon URL safe to share?
No — treat it like a password. It's tied directly to your account (or profile) and anyone with it can see your configuration and use your debrid/API keys through it.
Where do I check if something's down?
The Status page shows live health for LiteAIO and the external services it depends on.
